Instrument (INRAT)

Up until this point, you will have been operating according to Visual Flight Rules (VFR). To be able to fly in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC), you need an Instrument Type Rating. The written aspect of this is an examination consisting of general IFR questions in addition to questions based on a simulated IFR flight. 50 questions in 3 hours with 70% pass mark.
